We know they were in fact in American stores by the time the DVD release came out! But still, the Toy Story DVDs is great, and I recommend them for the kids - you can buy them anywhere from a dollar to about $40.īuzz is one of those characters that is so beloved by so many people that I almost listed him as a character meant to be funny, but then I remembered how much I loved the Toy Story toy box, so I put him on the list instead. Both of these toys were included with some Japanese DVD's when the movie was released in Japan, but they weren't available in North America at that point. In addition to his more popular friend, sheriff Woody, he also is one of the main two main characters in all four Toy Story films. He's a toy Space Ranger type superhero and an alien action figure also in the series. Buzz Lightyear is a minor character in the Toy Story series.
